About St Paul's
Walk inside the doors at St Paul's Anglican Kindergarten and be greeted by big smiles, bustling activity, happy children and a sense of "this feels right for my child".
St Paul's Anglican Kindergarten opened in 1942 and enjoys an excellent reputation for a well sought after kindergarten experience that prepares children for life not just school.
St Paul's has a great team of highly qualified Early Childhood Professionals who are committed to providing your child with a welcoming, nurturing and motivating learning environment. Our dedicated team strive to enrich children's lives through vibrant and diverse tailored learning programs.
We have children attending from many neighbouring suburbs including: Canterbury, Surrey Hills and Camberwell and do not operate on zoned selection.
St Paul's has very strong, established links with local primary schools which assists children during the big step from kindergarten to school. Teachers from the kindergarten and the school communicate regularly to ensure continuity for your child.

Visit our kindergarten
You are welcome to visit the Kindergarten during a session to observe. Come and see our new playground designed especially to keep bodies busy.

Parent Involvement
St. Paul's Anglican Kindergarten encourages parent and family involvement in all aspects of the program. Throughout the year a Parent Participation Roster is available for parents to volunteer to stay and watch the children play and to assist with the kindergarten sessions. Each "stay and play" session can involve you assisting with a variety of activities including painting, drama, cooking, creating, reading, outdoor play and tidying up. Subject to family and work commitments, parents are generally encouraged to participate in two sessions per term.

Management Committees
St Paul's encourages parents to participate in either of our two Committees.
The Management Committee at St Paul's is made up from very enthusiastic volunteer parents who are elected annually. The Management Committee manages the day to day running of the Kindergarten, including the finances, personnel, policies, and maintaining the playground and building.
The Social Committee is responsible for fundraising and organising social events for both the parents and children and is a great way to get to know the St Paul's community.
